It was just a normal day at Hotel OJ for Lightbulb. That was, until Test Tube kidnapped Paintbrush for inhumane expiriments, and an unknown assailant has shot and killed Marshmallow. Now, OJ and Paper are trying to capture the culprit, while Lightbulb realizes she's gonna go out by one side or another.
This fic is split into multiple acts:
Act 1: Hiding in Plain Sight (Chapters 1-11)
"Lightbulb feels cornered after Test Tube kidnaps Paintbrush and multiple other contestants, and someone starts murdering her teammates. All the while, OJ and Paper try to figure out what's going on."
Act 2: Whiplash (Chapters 12-)
"Test Tube, now stuck underground, grows closer with Fan. Meanwhile, Lightbulb attempts to live with the consequences of not acting on her suspicions earlier."
TW: Gore, violence, mentions of suicide, torture, and a lot of cliffhangers (sorry)
NOTE: This takes place after II2 18. Some lore may be inconsistent, such as Hotel OJ being rebuilt instead of MePad Manor being built instead. (Also, S4 is not canon to this fic, although some characters will get mentioned). Also this is my first fanfic, so I hope you all enjoy!

Finger Paintings (REBOOT)
After MePhone4 mysteriously dissapeared, the remaining contestants were sent back to Hotel OJ. People picked up new interests, Fan became a famous internet blogger, Suitcase and Balloon became detectives, Test Tube continued her science experiments, ect ect... But what about Paintbrush? That *is* who this story is about, is it not? Yes yes, of course. How would we forget our beloved Paintbrush, famous across all of the seasons of II. What happened to them? Well, they started an art class, every wednesday they would help their students get better at painting. But soon enough, they found a new interest. Finger Painting. They loved how much control they had, they loved how easy it was to glide their finger against the canvas. One day, they accidentally spilt some blood onto their canvas. They tried to rub it away, but.. It felt good. Even better than paint. They loved the feeling of the blood against the canvas, rubbing into it and creating an amazing picture. How could they not like it? But they couldn't use it again, they could use a substitute. And so they would. ~~~~~ ah yes, im better at writing now how did that happen? since im better at writing i thought, why not rewrite my most popular book? its not like its ahha its not like ive got 3 other things to do so yeah finger paintings reboot was born also the death orders might be a little different i will not be making a reboot of revival (unless its highly requested). The ending to this is going to be very different, and will not need a second story. I should've expected this, Paintbrush thought hopelessly, rolling their eyes. I am rooming with five-year-olds. . .
