But, the Aliens left something else. They chose twelve random kids to give powers.
Because there is a disclaimer. The countries moved, they created a new Pangaea, and the government is corrupt. Not only taking from the civilians, but giving what they took to the upper class. The government hides to many secrets unknown to the civilians.

The Hawaiian Special Forces by WingedPanther73

This is the story I'm writing for NaNoWriMo 2015. The goal: 50,000 word RAW draft written entirely in the month of November. Unlike most of my stories, which I prefer to edit before posting, I'm actually going to post updates to this at the end of each day in chapter-sized chunks. The idea behind this story is that a terrorist attack in the near future causes the US to go hyper-isolationist, to the point that it abandons Hawaii and Alaska to fend for themselves. They do, forming the United Pacific States (maybe with a few other island countries). Hawaii then goes on to turn itself into the new world police with stealthy, genetically modified cyber-soldiers. I'm marking this story as mature because there will be action scenes, and probably some interesting perspectives on nudity and relationships. I'm not planning on anything explicit, but this won't be a kids book. Validated winner at 50,040 words!

During the two years prior however Technology was to be proved as the downfall for several countries including U.S and China which had found themselves fighting for control over this one group. In the midst of the Combat the Contentinal Empire under the Rulership of Steven 1 has managed to push back the Allied forces with the help of a young and great strategic Leader known as "Frame". With his past and his history being a mystery "Frame" has been known to be one of the greatest Strategic minds since the famed Napoleon Bonaparte 1, leading victory after victory without a single loss. But when an allied Europe along with Russia plans to attack this solomn force of foes the Young General prepares for a counter attack that will plung the World into a State of War once more.

After a nuclear war nearly in 2150 the whole Earth has become uninhabitable for humans. There are some major cities which are still running but have very scarce resources such as food, water and oil. There are tall, thick walls protecting people from the outside world, surrounding the whole city and there is a ceiling, blocking the radiation from seeping in as air is filtered through the roof. The year is now 2205 which is the beginning for Earth to become how it was before. There are a group of people called The Warriors who go out and try to look for resources, facing death daily. A seventeen year old boy tries to steal food for his friend, he gets caught and is sentenced to death. The only way he could get out is if he joined The Warriors to search for a mythical jungle which is rumored to be flourishing in food and water. The journey is going to be very dangerous and death can come at any corner. There are bandit clans, somehow surviving outside of the walls and new types of animals unseen from humans that they didn't know existed. He will meet new friends, make some enemies and will be manipulated to do some really idiotic things, will he survive the journey and become a hero? Or will he die anyway?

The Sahara desert is now a lush farmland, the amazon is twice its original size, poverty is almost non existent, all cars are now electric, food is grown in huge urban farms, cancer has been cured and great strife's are being made technologically. The future of civilisation has never looked brighter, but in March 2050, a ginormous army of 500,000 people has appeared out of a huge ball of electricity, the size of Manhattan and their leader, General Hunter Padlock, speaks of a world where there are only 1 billion humans left, a world where humanity has fought a 40 year long war with malevolent machines, intent on butchering all humans, a world where humankind is suffering from starvation, desperation, panic and despair. But more important than any of the 12 zones was the 13th Territory belonging to the clan inspired by the mysterious 13th zodiac sign , Ophichs . This clan gave birth to some of the most talented witches , seers , and healers the world had ever seen . The power of the thirteenth clan was so strong it almost threw the planet back into the dark ages of violence and death , but the council settled on an agreement. The third child of every generation of the strongest family from the Thirteenth zone would be gifted to whichever clan was meant to rule the planet at that time through marriage. Their husband would picked by the land though a ceremony over seen by the gods and Mother Nature on the special child's 18th birthday. Her hand in marriage would give her husbands birth clan the power to rule the entire planet for the next 50 years until a new Special third child was born and married off to a different clan . This tradition worked to keep the peace spreading power equally for several decades among the 12 zones until now. 17 year old Elin from the famous 13th territory was one of the most gifted and beautiful girls to be born yet and this year would be her accession ceremony what happens when it doesn't go as planned ? Will Elins vast powers and hidden darkness throw her plant back into the dark ages of war?
