Society always fears what causes the world to become more of a mystery, and it applies even more when accounting for what inspires panic and terror with their mere presence.
More oddities that call what's real and what's not into question exist than one may expect. A mysterious species of creature with psychic capabilities, supernatural entities of unpredictable childlike whimsy and imagination, beings from beyond Earth possessing great and terrifying potential, and even more than that. Practically anything is up for discovery.
This is where The Department of Extraterrestrial and Anomalous Phenomena Research (DEAPR) comes in.
But at the same time, the question remains. What about these so-called oddities in this world?

The Super Squad (Discontinued)
There are a million possibilities. Possibilities that we don't get to travel. Possibilities that we don't get to see. Possibilities that can cause even the smallest changes. My possibility, well, let's just say that gifted teenagers, biological experimentation, mutants from another world and worldwide panic are a part of it and it's up to me and my friends to save it. I am no longer writing in this story, I became unhappy with how it came out but I am rewriting it because I fell in love with the idea so much so if you are new or recurring I ask you to read the new version I have coming out. Hope you all enjoy!!Complete
The Unordinary
Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it. Whoever that was is like us. "Did you just see that?" I ask "You're that person my brother and I saw," He says. Oh no... Why then? "Wait! You're-" Completed just editing. (Don't be too harsh please)Complete

Archeia's Atheneum (The First Shift)
You're awake. You're different. You exist, suddenly, as two things. You, the one you know, with the body and name you're familiar with--and this new you, the one exists within you. This you is inhabiting a world within your own. This other consciousness that you see through has begun to sense its timeline, each word a moment. Like the you you're familiar with, this self seems to come into its life mid-story--though the way you experience this life/story differs vastly from what you're used to. As you grow you will eventually know how to articulate it, even recreate it. First, however, you must choose to embark on/in this small incarnation; you must read the first word. For those who will tread forth on this journey, we salute you. You have been dubbed Archeia, may your journey be ever abundant.Complete
Once Again
"It's human nature. It's instinct to survive, no matter the cost." The world has fallen into desolation. The apocalypse has already started and finished, leaving some of the surviving ones with strange powers and mysterious scars. The world has ended, according to some, and is now in a state of rebirth. Others say it hasn't ended yet and that it's only going to get worse. The remaining people have grouped together in packs and gangs, raiding the desolate cities and avoiding the ones called the Destroyers, who capture and torture the remaining survivors. No one is safe. One fifteen year old boy knows this better than anyone. He and his older sister lived together, sticking to the dark alleys of their abandoned city, and survived for years after the apocalypse, until the Destroyers came and took her away, reigning terror on the few who remained in the city. The boy, desperate to find someone to help him save his sister, leaves the city and finds one of the youngest cooperative packs in North America, called the Raiders, comprised of unwanted individuals with the strange powers left from the destruction of years past. Their leader, a destructive insomniac, promises to help him in return for the skills and usefulness this young boy seems to possess, but something disrupting sends waves of unease through the Raiders, something about a forgotten past and talk of a mutiny. "Maybe there's more to life than just surviving." ... Rated C for Caution. Though it's rated mature, there is no bad language or vivid descriptions of sexual contact. It does have very strong themes. Please read the two important notices in the intro. Read at your own risk. Thanks. They were told to be heroes. But at the end of the day-they're still just kids. When kids all over the world suddenly developed powers, the government saw only profit-and fear. Families were forced to give up their children to brutal testing labs, or face execution for "fostering a threat." Some ran. Now hiding in the wreckage of what was once their home, a group of escaped kids has built their own society: The New House. No adults. No rules-except survive. They train. They fight. They bleed. Because every day, someone breaks the rules. One sneaks off to hear her mother's voice. Another plots betrayal from within. Friendships turn to rivalries. Love turns to loss. Powers spiral out of control. And when they fight-they don't hold back. But underneath the fighting, the power, the chaos... they're just scared kids trying to protect each other from a world that wants them gone. They're building a future without the adults they previously relied on and are instead forced to come together, but some of them would give anything just to go home.Complete
