"Well.. it was quite hard to identify the poison as it is generally uncommon in case of poisoning. Though it might have been really easy to trick him into having it." I said.

"You said it was quite difficult to identify the poison, then it is a good thing we have you" Officer Jeon said as he maintained an eye contact with me longer than necessary.

"It sounded like a compliment" I raised an eyebrow.

"Don't get used to it" he smugly smiled.

"I need the reference manual on human-made toxins, it's in the third shelf , I think" I walked towards the shelf behind him.

The shelf was out of my reach but I still tried to get a grip of the book, my toes streched out, I almost touched the book but not quite there.

"Almost... There...." I murmured.

"You can just ask for help" Officer Jeon spoke seeing my struggle.

"I am fine-"
my foot slipped against the polished floor. Jungkook's hand immediately shot out, catching me firmly by the waist before I could fall down.

"I had it.. the book" I said with an awkward smile.

"Right" he said without letting her go, just yet. "You always do."

Their eyes met, silence surrounded them. Neither of them wanted to break it.

Suddenly his phone rang, Y/N flinched and stepped away brushing her hand through her hair.
