For Clove Sevina her ambitions are to win the hunger games and to protect her beloved sister at all
means. But when Cato Hadley volunteers her chances of winning are low. She doesn't trust anyone and her own life is on the line. Like any other teenage girl she develops feelings for Cato that aren't very profiling because of a certain tribute in district 1, Glimmer. Cato and Glimmer are all of the sudden "in love" and then her ambitions with Cato suddenly turn into her wanting to kill him.
But when there's only her and Cato left will they fight to the death or become allies? Is it love or betrayal? In this case love is seriously deadly.
