Original idea isn't mine this was the unlisted brain child of Nevermore(DarkSoulsz) I'm just adopting it with their permission to do so. Furthermore more any images, gifs, videos, songs, or song titles referenced don't belong to me all credits go to the rightful owners I own jack shit just my own twist on the story's original idea.
A story of gifted individuals studying at a school so they can be used to fight the governments enemies be they yokai, demons, monsters, or even humans. But there's one individual who is deemed as a sacrifical pawn ultimately written off as cannon fodder for he can't feel pain sounds pretty good as an ability until you realize he has no enhanced healing well not in the normal nor traditional sense. Follow along with him to solve the mystery of a girl from school who randomly dropped off the planets face, yet can he solve a mystery he was blind to in his first life or will he squander how little time he has in this second chance after his death.

To gain special strength, knowledge and abilities. Yo has been experimented on his whole life and finds pain to be normal, the tests they run on Yo has left him with permanent physical changes too that he barely even looks human. Yo has never been treated as a human so he has no idea how to act or feel like one. Maddie starts her second year in high school and shes super stoked! All the kids in her class considers her to be the most prettiest girl in school that the boys drool over, but also the strangest that she hardly has any friends. Despite of being the center of attention at school she wishes to be normal girl because her memories of being a testing experiment in H.M.E as a little girl still taunts her and she's good at everything because of the special abilities they gave her which she thinks isn't fair. Just so you know this y/n is emotionless and shows little to none interest in people. Since this is a fem reader I will be using she/her pronouns and give y/n female body parts. please enjoy the rest of this description. Actual description: Y/n, a girl with little to none emotions. Or at least they don't show. Her mind is dark and so is everything she says when she does talk. She refuses to speak unless she wants, or has to talk to someone. But when she does, people tend to find it creepy or they begin to fear her. She has a loving family, is an only child and has everything she could want. Makes you wonder why she is like this....
