Meet Nathaniel Chong, a Singaporean 33-year-old unemployed mama's boy who's down on his luck. Thanks to his old friend Aceza, Nathaniel lands a job as a tour guide, but his social awkwardness makes him a fish out of water.
Things quickly go from bad to worse when he's tasked with leading a group of 16+ people who all know each other from waaaaaaay back - but Nathaniel's the only outsider. The group's dynamics are toxic, with old grudges and simmering tensions waiting to boil over.
When their bus crashes in the notorious Taman Negara jungle during a chaotic argument, Nathaniel's worst nightmares come true. As they navigate the haunted jungle, they'll encounter Pontianaks, headless Japanese soldiers, and unexplained phenomena.
