For years, scientists have wanted to see if they could extract a human conscience and split it into its individual parts. Over and over again they tried and over and over again they failed. Until one day, when they found a way that they were sure would work. The problem: they needed a brand new test subject. Enter Jack. Jack (known as Jacksepticeye on youtube) was kidnapped by the scientists and experimented on. His conscience was extracted and split into individual parts, his body was cloned and the main bulk of his conscience was implanted back into him. Jack survived the experience with very little physical and mental damage and the experiment was deemed a success. And so, the egos were born. They and Jack were kept in the lab and experimented on until the opportunity arose to escape. Once they are released into the real world, Jack discovers looking after multiple clones of himself who know nothing about the outside world is going to be a lot harder than he thought. And to make things worse, Jack is now sharing his mind with Anti. Where the others just want to live their lives as normally as they can, Anti wants revenge. He wants the world to know what they have been through and he wants the scientists to burn for what they did. He craves attention and is willing to get it in any way possible, even if that means putting the group's new-found freedom in jeopardy.Complete

The "egos" are just some fun characters created by Markiplier and Jacksepticeye. Unless they happen to be two sets of best kept secrets, that Mark and Jack are sick of carrying around with them. When the guys go to strange lengths to try and rid their lives of the paranormal duplicates, things only get stranger. No one expected them to shrink, but now that they have, the guys realize they may have created more problems than they solved. (( This is a long, chapter story. Completed. Yeah, I made the egos tiny. Suddenly everything went dark, I felt like Ness opened the door, even though it was dark, I got close to ness, I knew that if the lights took too long she will panic. I took what I felt was her arm, she flinched a little but then we heard a scream coming from the part where the guys were. - Katy? What was that? - Ness said. - Quiet Ness, I don't know ...get in to the bathroom - I said and we walked in. I locked the door. After a few seconds we were embraced in the dark, we felt like we had hours in this bathroom but there were only minutes, we could hear breaking objects and some screams. After what seemed an eternity the lights came back on, Ness had tolerated enough, this was too much, was going on? I opened the door ... and there was nothing.
