Brandon never wanted to be the starting quarterback for his famous, highly successful high school football team. He didn't even want to play football at all, but his natural talent and an opportunity to play for one of the most competitive teams in Ohio led him to staying along for the ride.
Despite his natural talent, he never built a bond with the team, who all seemed to love the backup, and sometimes starter much more. Brandon despises him, and won't even refer to him by his name, instead calling him "Muscles," a feeble attempt to mock his insanely huge frame. Muscles is everything Brandon hates.
