16 year old, Janice Myleen, grew up in the small town of Diya. Living with her single mum, who passes away due to a 'mysterious health issue'. Janice doesn't believe this for a second, especially not after what she finds in her mom's office. After getting stuck working for a richer family to avoid an orphanage, Janice become dead set on finding out what really happened to her mother.
Along the way, she meets Ashton (Ash) Cooper. Freshly 18, he works at the Cafe up town to make a living after being kicked out by his dad, for not wanting to go to collage. His dad being a detective, Ash is smart and sharp witted, as well as extremely good with puzzles.
