In a quiet village, Gulab Mishra, a spirited 9-year-old girl, is married off to Anirudh Singh, a 16-year-old heir of a wealthy zamindar family. The ceremony is a matter of duty and alliance for their families - but for Anirudh, something unexpected awakens.
