Annalese, youngest daughter of the Virginian Governor, couldn't think of a better life. She is adored by her parents, popular among friends, and lives a fulfilling life. Recently, she has been experiencing magical symptoms. Her parents tell her that life will run as normal, but Annalese feels certain that they aren't being completely honest. 

Accompanied by her best friend, Ben, she sets out to search more about these magical abilities... against her parents wishes of course. Along the way, they befriend others, including Blackbeard the Pirate.
