In a realm suspended between the mortal world and the spirit world, Rya, a young passionate of adventure, discovers an ancient map hidden in an old box belonging to her grandmother. This map, adorned with mystical symbols and forgotten constellations, reveals the existence of a hidden dimension where the souls of the ancestors meet under a starry sky, far from the eyes of the living.

Driven by insatiable curiosity and a desire to understand her heritage, Rya embarks on a journey through enchanted forests, majestic mountains and luminous rivers. On her journey, she meets Aelan, a mysterious young man who seems to be connected to the magic of the stars. Possessing an irresistible charm and ancient knowledge, Aelan becomes his guide, but he also hides a devastating secret: he is the guardian of souls, condemned to remain in the spirit world until he finds true love.

As Rya and Aelan get closer, the boundary between the two worlds becomes thinner, and an ancient threat awakens. Dark forces, jealous of their bond, seek to separate them and keep the kingdom of ancestors in oblivion. Rya must then choose between her personal quest to discover her heritage and the growing love she feels for Aelan.

Through initiatory trials and poignant revelations, Rya and Aelan learn to master the magic of the stars. Together, they struggle to unite the two worlds, while discovering that true love can transcend even death. In a final battle under a starry sky, Rya must make a choice that could change the fate of her kingdom forever.

"You're not supposed to be awake," she said to him. Her voice was rather deep, but somehow, still soft and feminine. "And you're not supposed to be here." Been skimping on your meds, have you?" ********************************************** He is utterly lost. Lost in time, without control. Lost in a world that's strange and daunting. Set in a continent called Irevalen, where the skies are ruled by dragon-shifters - immortal beings who can take human form, but never fully shed their beast. Centuries ago, a Blood Treaty was made between dragons and the last surviving human kingdom. To maintain balance and peace, a dragon from the royal bloodline must bond with a human every 500 years - not just a marriage, but a soul-binding, deep magic deal that ensures dragons don't destroy the mortal realm with their fire and fury. The catch? The human bride is always chosen by fate. No one picks. No one can refuse. Or so they say. --- 🔥 The Male Lead: Kaelith Vyron, the current heir to the SKYCOURT throne - feared warrior, emotionless strategist, and cold-blooded dragon prince. Has rejected the idea of love his whole life. Is terrified of what the soul-bond might do to him (dragons who bond can be consumed by obsession). Is pissed that fate tied him to a weak, mortal girl. Thinks she'll break. Plans to scare her off. But she doesn't. And it wrecks him. --- 🕊️ The Female Lead: Liora Vane, 22-year-old healer's apprentice from the far southern coast. Orphaned young. Grew up with books, herbs, and freedom. Hates the idea of fate deciding who she marries. Thinks dragons are cruel, inhuman monsters. When she's taken from her village and presented to Kaelith, she fights back - hard. Swears she'll never belong to him. But then... she sees pieces of his humanity. And it terrifies her more than the fire ever did.

In this haunting place where shadows stretch endlessly and time slips away, Lyra is consumed by her grief and confusion, unable to find her way back to the world she once knew. In the depths of the Underland, Lyra meets Damien, a seemingly perfect guide who promises to heal her broken heart. With his gentle words and comforting presence, Damien convinces Lira that he can help her move on from her past and restore her peace. But as Lyra's trust in him grows and love starts to blossom, so does her unease. Something about Damien doesn't feel right. His kindness seems too perfect, his offers of solace too convenient, and soon she begins to suspect that the Underland-and Damien himself-are not what they appear to be. As Lyra delves deeper into the twisted and deceptive landscape of the Underland, she learns the terrifying truth: the realm thrives on the souls of those who are lost and broken, offering false healing in exchange for their soul. To escape before the Underland consumes her soul, Lyra must confront her deepest pain, face the emotional scars she's been running from, and discover the strength to heal from within. But Damien, now revealed to be a sinister force in the Underland, will stop at nothing to keep her trapped in his false embrace. In a race against time, Lyra must break free from Damien's manipulative grip and find a way to reclaim her heart before it's too late. The only question that remains: can she heal in time to save herself, or will the Underland claim her soul forever?

The Heart Beyond the Veilwood

29 parts Complete

Eighteen-year-old Jessica has always felt the pull of the forest. Living at the edge of the forest of the wild, she's heard the warnings her whole life: never cross into the monster's side. But when danger strikes and she's forced beyond the border, she discovers a world far stranger-and more beautiful-than she ever imagined. Wounded and alone, Jessica is saved by Zackariah, a mysterious guardian of the forest with eyes like a stormlight and a soul shaped by solitude. He is not entirely human... and not entirely monster. Bound to the Veilwood by ancient magic, Zackariah never expected to care for a human - let alone risk everything to save one. As Jessica heals in the hidden sanctuary of the wood elves, she and Zackariah find themselves drawn together by a bond neither can explain... and a love that defies the rules of both their worlds. But with danger closing in, and old powers stirring in the trees, their connection may not be enough. To stay together, they'll have to choose: the safety of what they've always known... or the wild, uncertain path of the heart. Some stories begin on the edge of the unknown. This one begins just beyond it. This work originally mine @copyright (this is my first story)
