Trying my hand at short stories. One never knows what they may find. Mystery? Romance? Fantasy? Death? Poems? Heartache? What is it we desire that brings up back to the same stories again and again? So many things yet we always go back to our favorites. "Hey, aren't you the guy who sells T-shirts by the Academy?" Katie asks me. "Yeah ... I-I though you'd never know." I say. She's never noticed me before! Inside, I'm jumping crazily. She finally knows who I am! Writing down the answer to the 4th question, she asks, "What's your name again?" Never mind, she doesn't. ------------------------- Tyler Forrest has sold T-Shirts for a long time at his Dad's T-shirt shop. Almost everyday, his crush since elementary school, Katie Vanilla, goes into the shop to either look around, or talk to Tyler. Tyler has never known why, but she does; and at the shop, they're basically friends. Katie Vanilla is 'The Popular Girl' at school, and everyday she goes to the T-shirt shop to get away. She wants a break from her very busy life. Now at school, Katie doesn't even know Tyler exists. At school, Tyler's his alter ego shy self, with only a handful of friends. It's not until one day, he offers her help on her homework that she realizes they go to the same school. Isn't she smart? Tyler, excited as can be, hopes their store relationship will carry over to school, but will it? And why does she really talk to him at the t-shirt shop? What's her backstory? And the biggest question is, does Katie even like Tyler?

"Dad!" I yell as I walk into the house. I'm greeted by nothing, except silence. My dad is rarely home, I don't know what I am expecting. Ever since my mom died, he's been nothing but distant with me. I mean, he was always distant, even before mom passed, but before, I thought that he just didn't care about me, now... I know he doesn't. ********** "Hello?" I say through the phone, grabbing a cloth, running it through the faucet, and pressing it against my knee. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" I hear a chorus of people yelling through the crackly phone. I start to laugh. ******** My mom had died. My dad is an alcoholic that doesn't care about me. I have three best friends. One new friend (Who's a bartender/stripper/lesbian). A great job as a DJ at this amazing club. And a whole new idea to get away from my dad and stop holding on to the past. ********** "It called and emancipation," she said through the phone, laughing, knowing that I was anxious. What the HELL is emancipation!? How can it get me away from my dad!? ******** Then I meet him.

There's always been something missing in Stevie's life. She just doesn't know what or who it is. When Stevie's father starts to act suspicious, she takes it upon herself to find out what he's hiding. Please not this story is under revision. There are massive plot holes that are being resolved at the moment, as of March 2017, there will be chapters not lining up and constant editing.
