There's always been something missing in Stevie's life. She just doesn't know what or who it is. When Stevie's father starts to act suspicious, she takes it upon herself to find out what he's hiding. Can she stand to hold her strength through thick and thin, like the way her father raised her? And who's to say that an adorable teenage boy can't get in the way in all of this? He claims to help her, but the only thing she can do is hide with her friends, shadows.

A chance a few get and those who do get that chance must survive or die as a lost one. Hello! I'm the author, and I have decided to completely rewrite this story, it'll pretty much be the same, but hopefully better. I've been practicing my writing skills, and I love this story and feel like I can make it better this time. She wants a break from her very busy life. Now at school, Katie doesn't even know Tyler exists. At school, Tyler's his alter ego shy self, with only a handful of friends. It's not until one day, he offers her help on her homework that she realizes they go to the same school. Isn't she smart? Tyler, excited as can be, hopes their store relationship will carry over to school, but will it? And why does she really talk to him at the t-shirt shop? What's her backstory? And the biggest question is, does Katie even like Tyler?
