Where Wild Things Grow is the prologue to The Gardenias Series. It follows the story of Cassandra and Nikolai, the protagonists of The Foxglove King, which is the first book in the series. This covers everything from their very first meeting right up to a few months before the start of The Foxglove King. The protagonists of the rest of the books in the series appear in this novella but this is mainly focused on Cassandra and Nikolai.
