After a near death experience against the Knight, Kris is completely bedridden, all they could be grateful for was that the Roaring was prevented, and the world was saved. 

It had been about a month since that day, and feelings that they hadn't felt since they were a kid resurfaced, that longing to no longer be a human, to feel like they belong, but a constant nervousness prevented them from ever bringing it up to Susie or Ralsei, the only one being aware of that longing was their mother.

Now stuck in Castle Town till Ralsei can fully heal their injuries, Kris doesn't realize that some of the medicine that the prince was giving them would have... unintentional side effects.

This is supposed to be a fluff book! Since I don't see a lot of DR fanfics that take the whole 'Kris wants to be a goat monster' concept and use it, I wanted to give it a go!

I am not doing this as an offense to the canon or any other interpretations of KFC in other media. -Making Kris a guy just makes it a bit easier for me. And to be honest, I can't be the first one to make Frisk and Chara girls. Otherwise, I support everyone and their decisions when it comes to who they identify as. I'm not against LGBTQIA+ in any way. Kris has struggled with paying attention in class as the fluffy boy was on his mind for some reason, and with the knowledge of knowing he'll be alone in the Dark World this time, he'll spend some quality alone time with the prince!
