iris (wangxian)

Carp Tower hadn't changed. The grey brick walls remained as dreary and dull as ever, the flora of the land just as wild and etiolated, and the house itself just as alive.
And that was the one thing that Wei Wuxian feared the most in this house: it breathed. In the night, it moved and wept. During the day, it slept.

"Jie, you know how this house is."

"We have enough room to spare. Eleven rooms, A-Xian. I'm sure the house wouldn't mind another two guests."

Wei Wuxian didn't reply.

It didn't matter whether the house minded guests or not. In fact, he's pretty sure the house would love another two guests.

It'd welcome them with open arms, hug them tight, tighter, and never let them go until they suffocated in its arms and even then, it still wouldn't let go.

(or: realtor-slash-house-ghost-cleaner wei wuxian meets detective lan wangji (a pyschic, he suspects) and his odd son, while they brave the strange nights carp tower brings (oh, and all the jin siblings, who wei wuxian grew up with, are dead))
