For Naruto and Sasuke, leaving Konoha together felt like the right choice from the moment they made the decision.
Okay, maybe Sasuke had worries at first, but after time he realized Naruto seemed to fit right in with him, and it gave them a chance to figure out what exactly they were.
And if you asked Naruto? Well, it had been the easiest choice he'd ever made. Spending time together, working S-rank missions, having amazing sex, what else could he want? Even though Sasuke was kinda weird about his feelings and hasn't said "I love you" back yet in all these months (what's up with that?!) Naruto wasn't going to think too hard on it, especially not today, when it was Sasuke's birthday.
He just needed to focus on not screwing things up...

He keeps to himself and only ever talks to his brother, Itachi, and his knucklehead best friend who he loves, Uzumaki Naruto.
