The continent of Nharuun is divided by the Bone Forest, a petrified woodland stretching for hundreds of miles. The trees are fossilized, white as marble, and hum with dormant magic. No one enters and returns unchanged-if they return at all.

Legend says the forest was once alive, ruled by a Coven of Druid-Queens who made a pact with the earth itself. They gave up their mortality to bind wild magic and protect the balance between life and death.

Now, the balance is breaking.

Life After Death (Book 1 of After Death Trilogy) by Sweet_Mango
40 parts Complete Mature
COMPLETED! First book of the After Death Trilogy. --------------------------- My life ended with a stupid fall. My afterlife began in a monster-infested realm called Injusto. --------------------------- I always thought Death would be peaceful. An end to the struggle, the pain, the quiet exhaustion of just existing. I was so wrong. I woke up in Injusto, a realm of lost souls and terrifying creatures, and learned that death wasn't an end, but a violent, chaotic second chance. Here, survival is a daily battle, and god-like Ethereals bestow cryptic blessings that feel more like burdens. My only plan was to not die a second, even more embarrassing, time. Then he appeared. Krin, a stoic Dragon-Lord from a secret, floating sanctuary. He saved me, offering a glimpse of something I thought was lost forever: hope. My second chance is turning into an epic quest I'm not ready for. And I'm not sure I'll ever be. ========== Copyright Copyright © 2025 by Claire Burns. All rights reserved. 16 parts Ongoing
The war storms at the Frontier... The gods are broken. The empire is burning. And the end has already begun. A warrior with no past unleashes power no mortal should wield. A young ruler clings to a dying crown as his people lose faith. A chaos mage, feared and revered, walks with death in her shadow. Amongst their ranks-two Rifter siblings, wilders of ruin, benders of space and time. Feared. Watched. Leashed by the most powerful. But even under chains, love blooms... and loyalty begins to shift. When the empress falls into a cursed slumber-her unborn child the last ember of prophecy- the empire sends its strongest into the Abyss of Lost Quintessence: A place where even time forgets itself, where silence hungers, and where One of the Roots of the Umbrovyn Tree stands-ancient, cracked, and bleeding memory. Monstrosities roam, daring to strike in daylight. The veils whisper betrayal. Alliances splinter. Some stand frozen, unsure of their next move- fearing one wrong step may provoke the wrath of a dominion vast as a world and cruel as the gods who forged it. Old gods stir, craving redemption through ruin. The Royal House fractures beneath betrayal. A founding father, long patient, now bares their intent- to seize the throne by force, by cunning, by wagering all that is. Their House's malice toward the flawed Royal line can no longer be cloaked. Love will test loyalty. Legends will bleed. And in the dying light of Ether-Space- The Aurora must not fall... Or all realities will burn. 🔥
Drekablóð Rising:Fire(Book 1) by Phoenix-Dragoness
34 parts Complete
The war that started it all. Five hundred years ago a war erupted in Elementa when humans started hunting a revered race called the Drekablóð; half humanoid, half dragon. The humans saw them as abominations for their differences; fear of a race more powerful than another makes others do rash and deadly things. After the humans slaughtered a whole settlement of Drekablóð, the magical creatures of Elementa rose up in defense of the Drekablóð. The humans likewise called on their dwarf and elf allies. Thus Bellum ex Quod Draco ipsos Troiugenas began. For ten long, bloody years the races fought hard for the future of the Drekablóð. One wanting to exterminate them like pest. The other wanting them to survive and flourish. In the end, the humans won, but their victory cost them and the rest of Elementa dearly. The alicorns and dwarves disappeared. The wyverns and elves were practically extinct. Dragons were a rare sight. Only the humans survived to tell the tale of how they wiped out the evil monsters that tried to take their lands. Elementa, originally a lush and beautiful land, was now split into four different climates, equally harsh in their own way. But the humans prevailed in cultivating Elementa and chasing away any remaining magical creatures into her far corners. With the resistance of magical creatures no longer in their way, the humans continued their 'sport' of hunting the Drekablóð into extinction. Half a millennium later, the seeress Carmentha foresaw the return of the Drekablóð, and restoring Elementa to her prime and defeating the wicked and harsh rulership of Elementa. These four children have been destined to save Elementa before they were ever born. Can they overcome their difficulties and save Elementa? Or will they fail and allow Elementa to fall into darkness forever? There will be some minimum swearing and minimum acts of violence. I would rate this book for 14 and up.
