Ashes and Dust

A fire, in an old church, with young's kids trapped inside. After the three boys, Ponyboy, Johnny, and Dallas got out of the fire burned, bruised, and hurt they all get to the hospital. When they all survive it makes Ponyboy and Johnny rethink a lot of things. As Ponyboy and Johnny have tragic and not easily spotted trauma, its causes friction in the group. Pony starts to realize feelings for a boy he'd never think to have, Dallas Winston, THE Dallas Winston. Pony doesn't know how to deal with those feelings while also internally feeling every emotion in the book.
