War has wreaked havoc on the clans residing in the forest, but thankfully it's over. Sunstar, Meadowclan's leader, prevailed over the invading rogues thanks to a less-than-noble promise with the Dark Forest cats. With the condition that he hand over an excellently trained warrior to join their ranks.

With the birth of Moonkit, Sunstar's only kin, the choice to groom the young tom into a great leader is surely what Sunstar aims to do. When an accident strikes and leaves Moonkit out of the running, however, Sunstar must pivot and decide how he'll fulfill his promise to the cats of the Dark Forest before they go back on their deal.

Unaware of his father's plot, Moonkit lives life happily, training alongside his friends until something starts guiding him toward a nefarious plot within his clan. Is someone in danger?

Follow Moonpaw, a young Meadowclan cat, as he navigates the border between family and betrayal, with a deep connection to Starclan leading him the whole way.

The clans, long disconnected from their origins, have been thrown into chaos.
