Though labeled "Brave," Maelis takes everything to heart, often overwhelming herself with emotion while missing assignments (a habit she diligently repairs every Sunday under Hermione's careful instruction).

Despite her scatter-minded nature and struggles with anxiety-and even her notorious difficulty with Occlumency-Maelis shines as a Seeker on the Quidditch pitch. Her skill on a broomstick is unmistakable, securing her a spot on the team in her very first year. She's also known for her relentless oversharing, a trait that leaves no secret unspoken, whether it's about her latest triumph or her deepest insecurities.

Among her closest companions are her sister, Maliah Blackwater, the ever-eccentric Luna Lovegood, the feisty Ginny Weasley, the Golden Trio (Harry, Ron, and Hermione), and the notorious duo of Fred and George Weasley. Conversely, her time at Hogwarts is not without strife; an infamous Slytherin gang targets her with relentless hexes and bullying, intensifying the pressure she already faces.

Favorite classes and mentors become lifelines for Maelis after a dark twist and a revelation of a family tree that she once wanted to know about, but now, she wanted nothing more than to forget. The big reveal drives stakes into all her friendships, even the one with her sister.

Through every trial and triumph, Maelis Blackwater's journey at Hogwarts becomes something a bit more in a world filled with magic, mystery, and a few too many misplaced assignments
