Endless Chords After an electrifying concert weekend, Veronica is on her journey back home, tired, inspired, and focused. The event wasn't just about the music; it was a chance to prove herself behind the lens. Veronica spontaneously spends a moment of honesty in a crowded concert with Jack. Jack leaves her with his email on a receipt-nothing else. No number. No socials. Just a single thread for someone to follow if she dares. When Veronica finally writes to Jack, they find their connection deepens. It sparks something gentle but rare: a conversation that doesn't require performing, just presence. But then she doesn't respond. To Jackson, her silence becomes heartbreak. Touring with his band, he spirals through questions he can't quite answer. About Veronica. About his bandmate Lawrence, whose quiet touch and familiar closeness have long blurred the line between comfort and longing. This story will continue with different POV's, and include different relationship tension between friends, bandmates, and lovers. As tour buses roll forward and inboxes stay unanswered, everyone remains suspended in the in-between, where intimacy doesn't mean clarity, and where wanting something doesn't make it easier to hold. Endless Chords is a tender, slow-burning exploration of identity, timing, and the people who arrive just before you're ready-but stay long enough to matter. **** This is a disclaimer that the story is loosely inspired by the band Sleep Token. To be very clear, this was INSPIRED and in no way accurately describes the band members' appearances, personalities, or names. This is not revealing any secrets about the band, and we have no intention of doing so. If you don't know who Sleep Token is- No problem! No prior knowledge is required in order to read this story. Enjoy!****

Classmate Elliot Astor is a trust funder that can't buy his way out of grief and secrets of his own. Spending his nights partying with his friends to forget, he drifts through days with little interest in chasing anything but the next distraction. After a chance meeting, they find themselves drawn increasingly close together, pushing the boundaries of their heartache and histories, and fighting for a future neither dared to envision. current word count: 301,471 -------- • trying to update once a month, if not sooner • some chapters are broken into multiple parts for ease of reading, as some chapters are over 16K words • I'm a very dialogue-heavy writer :) • this is a genuine slow burn ***Read with caution*** This story includes mature content and themes such as explicit sexual content, suicide, self-harm, abuse, violence, trauma, drug use, mental illness, death, extreme homophobia, slurs, cursing, etc. There is no SA, though Stats: #1 in anxietydisorder 10/22/25 #2 in bxbromance 02/02/26 #5 in loneliness 01/26/26 #6 in freethelgbt 01/26/26 #11 in gayboys 01/26/26 #17 in gay-sex 01/26/26 #18 in gayness 01/26/26 #34 in explicit 01/26/26
