Shadow leaned closer and pressed a hand against the wall behind Sonic, looking down at him. Sonic hated the sudden flutter that stirred in his stomach from not only the close proximity, but just how bold this guy was. Seriously, who did he think he was?
"Let's leave, then. We can have fun somewhere else. Right, princess?"
Sonic's ears twitched.
"Princess?" he echoed.
Shadow raised a brow, putting the lollipop in his mouth now with all the confidence.
"Yeah."
Sonic scoffed, masking the sudden heat in his cheeks. "I hope you know I'm a dude."
Shadow didn't hesitate.
"So?" He leaned down even closer now, until their noses nearly touched. "That doesn't stop you from being my princess."
