Eiran was once a knight-honorable, loyal, and blind to the decay spreading through the heart of Eryndor. Now, he leads a rebellion from the underground, known only by the name of the group he commands: The Night Wastes Society. The King's rule is rotting the land, poisoning its people, and Eiran is ready to burn the throne to ash.
But fate has other plans.
When a failed mission forces Eiran to flee, he stumbles through an ancient gateway buried beneath the city-and into a forgotten realm of twilight and terror. There, monstrous creatures roam, time moves like smoke, and nothing obeys the laws of man. It's in this shadow-realm he meets Kaelis, an exiled fae warrior with secrets etched in runes and blood.
Kaelis has guarded the borders of the Night Waste for centuries, but the breach Eiran crossed was never meant to open. Something stirs beyond the veil-something ancient, hungry, and bound to both their worlds.
As rebellion brews in Eryndor and war looms in the realm beyond, Eiran and Kaelis must form an uneasy alliance to stop a darkness neither of them fully understands. But some gates were meant to stay closed-and some truths were meant to stay buried.

That being said I don't have any issues with anybody using AI as long as they don't ghostwrite with it. 'They pulled the chair across from me out and sat in it. The tavern carried on when the figure made themselves comfortable. My grip tightened on the hilt of the dagger. They pulled the hood of their cloak off and unclasped it. Their movements were relaxed and unhurried. I ran my eyes over him. He had strange black, swirling tattoos on his neck and long, pointed ears. His clothes were plain. I crossed my arms and sat back in my seat, keeping my eyes on his piercing midnight blue ones. He cocked an eyebrow. "Well?" I narrowed my eyes. "Well, what?" "What's your business here?" "I should be asking you that, considering you silenced a room by being in it." "Fair enough." He paused as the bartender brought another tankard over. "I'm looking for a travel companion." His voice was as deep as the shadows surrounding us. "You're an elf... Don't they prefer to travel on their own?" "Fae," he corrected as he pulled a pipe out of thin air. A black wisp of smoke surrounded his hand as he did so. "But yes, we do. I, however, have had enough of my thoughts being my only company." I nodded. "So?" He raised his eyebrows. I shook my head sadly. "This is something I need to do. Alone." "Alright." He looked a bit disappointed, which was odd, considering we had just met. ' What happens when you're going to kill the Unnamed One and meet a mysterious fae on your journey? Do you trust him, or leave him? And what do you do when you find out what he's been hiding? Iowyn Aedithas is on a quest to save her guild. A quest that could potentially be lethal for her. She's an awfully brave (some would say naive) human to be doing this. Demons have been attacking her guild, and she's had enough.
