The story shows how much Elliot has developed, especially from when he started to gain some sense about what he was doing. His father, his family, Gertrudes lifestyle, protecting both Gertrude and their child, and conflict with reconnecting back with them both.
Will Elliot finally change and see what he had done? Can Gertrude forgive him for what he did? Can the baby finally get a name? Will they all be reunited as a family?
