Amy goes on a globe-trotting adventure with Shadow to restore his body back to normal.

On the eve of a Team Dark exclusive mission, Shadow is removed from assignment for reasons he can only speculate. Alone and unwilling to face his demons on the anniversary of Maria's death, he caves and decides to visit her grave, only for a feeling to overcome him, propelling him on a rage fueled rampage through the outskirts of Station Square.
Amy wants nothing more than to return to the life of adventure she once knew, but feels tied to the self-inflicted load of responsibilities she took on to prove her worth to her friends. After a rough double shift at the bakery, she finds herself surrounded by familiar creatures of the night, their intentions with her unclear.
Then a seemingly untamable werehog enters the fray.

Shadow: Awakening
This fan fiction will go into detail about Shadow's complicated past, and will start with his creation on the ARK. Shadow is battling memories, mind-control, and struggling to find his true identity. Is he a Hero? A Villain? A Mercenary who cares for nothing but self gain? Or will he withhold nothing in his quest for revenge? He must discover who he truly is, and in the process, unearth the truth behind Maria's TRUE last request. I portray Shadow as a character who is torn between personalities. Probably the first ever ShadAmyOuge story but idk I haven't looked Main plot After years of Amy chasing sonic he finally grows the Courage to tell Amy he doesn't like her calmly and alittle annoyed, the group aged a lot now Amy was 17 sonic was 20. In her mourning time she is visited by her friend Rouge, Rouge comforts her and takes her away from the team to clear her head, in her time away she gets fairly close with Shadow in the mean time her and rouges friendship grows stronger then ever.
