The factionless born children, hate the factions as they have been born only to never be given hope for a brighter future. The children exposed purely to the evil of the factions creates a hatred from ignorance, this hatred led to children attacking Dauntless patrols leading to Dauntless becoming more violent. When the violence was growing too fast the adults created a system. It didn't work for everyone but for some it saved lives. But when I joined the system.
