Jen's the kind of girl who keeps her head down and gets things done. She got her work ethic from her dad and her stubborn streak from her mom..two people currently going through a messy divorce. Living alone and trying to keep her life together, Jen works the night shift at a quiet convenience store off the highway. It's not glamorous, but the pay is good and the routine is simple: show up at 10 PM, leave at 6 AM, attend to a few late night wanderers, and try not to think too much. She's closer to her dad, but she sees both sides. She's stuck in between--- watching her family fall apart while pretending that everything's fine. And it was fine. The late nights, the half empty store, the flickering lights it all became her new normal. Until one night. One shift. One strange customer. And nothing is ever the same again. *TRANSLATED VERSION*

WARNING: violence, physical/domestic abuse, kidnapping, torture, murder, language. This is a story about a young girl who was trying to make it in the Hollywood industry by working on movie sets in a clean up crew. She eventually catches the eye of a well known movie producer and is in bliss until she learns what he's really doing on those late nights at work. In fear of her life she tries to make a run for it but is stopped by the producer and held against her will. One night she fights hard enough to get away but just when she thought she was safe... she learned she was wrong. (This is the first story I've shared over any type of platform. I guess I'm hoping for feedback - good and/or bad, to decide if I want to make it a continuous story or just end it soon.) **** Finished Oct2020.
