A chilling presence settled behind me. My body screamed at me not to turn, but I couldn't resist the primal urge. Another flash of lightning illuminated the room, revealing a monstrous statue - a grotesque figure with horns, sharp fangs, and a face etched with deep lines of agony. Dried blood crusted its chest. Its mouth hung open in a silent scream. It was horrifying, yet... strangely familiar.

Then, I saw her eyes. And I knew. This was Queen Chanteuse. My fear began to recede, replaced by a profound sense of sorrow. The ugliness of the statue masked a haunting beauty, an enduring sadness that resonated deep within me.
