It's been ten years since Sirius Black saw his younger sister (brother), so when James kisses him, he feels guilty. Only, there is a limit as to how much you can feel guilty, while simultaneously kissing the man of your dreams. Or: James meets a transitioned Regulus, and immediately falls in love, even though he doesn't realise it at first. Meanwhile, Sirius and Remus both start feeling "different" about eachother.

When James wakes up, his head his pounding. He can't remember drinking anything, but supposes he must have because it feels like he's been hit square between the eyes with a bludger. He's never been one to get hungover, but he knows this is what it's supposed to feel like. Although, come to think of it, he doesn't remember celebrating their victory on the pitch, isn't completely sure they had one at all. The last thing he remembers is turning to look to the stands, revelling in the roars of his fellow Gryffindors, certain that they were going to beat Hufflepuff. After a year of radio silence, James shows up at his ex boyfriend's door so drunk he can hardly stand and picks up a metaphorical rattlesnake by its metaphorical tail. Some people have to taste poison twice to learn their lesson. -𓆱- James walked like he was walking the line of a tightrope, with his arms out to trace through windless night air. His cigarette was gone. "Where are you going?" He turned to Regulus' voice slowly, as if unsurprised he'd been followed through the hot dark. James shrugged. "You don't know?" Sometimes James felt like picking a direction and walking until his legs gave out, then getting up the next day to keep walking, and never turning around.

1/3 So it starts when Regulus is in fifth year (15-year-old) and James is in sixth year (16-year-old). The dates might not be accurate but just go with it. After a horrible relationship, Regulus was found crying in the hall and James found him. James comforted him and then they went back to James' room. And that's how it starts. Some pregnancy scares and pregnancy at the end of the story. (just to have some drama for the next generation).
