Emmaline Howlett-Foster has lived a pretty normal life. Just erase the fact that her mom died and her dad went missing and has been presumed dead since she was four, and the other fact that her preschool teacher adopted her, she's a pretty normal girl. And maybe forget the fact that about a week ago, her little cuts and bruises started disappearing much quicker than normal. Oh, and the fact that everything seems much louder and brighter and smells worse than ever before. But those are minor details. Right?
