After surviving the clutches of a child trafficking ring, the government offered her a place to be able to achieve ataraxia - a high-security, government-funded sanctuary built for victims like her. A refuge known as "Seraphis Node"

At the heart of the main building stands an altar dedicated to an unknown deity. The six guardians are extremely devoted to the deity, and they force the victims to praise and worship too.

When Elita discovers that the deity they worship is not a myth, but a living, breathing scientist with the mentality of a maniac who experiments on mankind, turning them into beautiful but bloodlusted monsters, she realizes:
