A girl named Ava becomes fed up with her brother, Adam, receiving special treatment due to his intelligence. In response, she decides to run away with her friend Chloe. However her plans are immediately stopped when her brother and mother lock themselves in there room and her father runs away for a unknown reason. For the cherry on top her drunk mother starts abusing her and Jamie leaving permanent damage both physically and emotionally. Will someone come to the rescue, will they run away faster, or BOTH!

I ended up settling for a dark blue colored pencil and a sheet of loose leaf paper. I started to madly scribble a list of necessary supplies I would need if I was actually going to do this. 1. Money 2. Clothes 3. Bus schedule 4. Mom's memory box I couldn't think of anything else I would need. But I knew that the list would grow. I mentally started to make plans. When one is running away, planning is essential. I thought of things like where would I go? When would I leave? Would I need to pack food too? Am I strong enough to do this? Can I do this?
