In the first few years after Draco and Nixie's son, Scorpius, is kidnapped they go through a whirlwind of emotions and struggle. The golden trio at their side helping them figure out where their son is before he's old enough to wield a wand and excel at his magical studies, and become the world darkest sorcerer. As years go by, the search grow harder and harder as Nixie's greiving takes a toll o her and she is pushing to the point where their son's safety was going to become at risk. Draco takes a daring decision in order to protect his son and hopefully Nixie.

11 years go bye, and Draco's only chance to get their son back is wait for him to start Hogwarts and return Nixie her memories. Which proceeds to be harder than he anticipated as he twisted her memories of him into someone she hated, she has no recollection of being pregnant or having Scorpius. While Nixie now creating bonds, friendships, diving into new relationships, is struggling with adjusting to her new life and wanting to stop running, she feels magic there and something else.
