It's one of the classic cliches. Two child hood best friends. Two girls who did nothing but love each other for years. Ellie and Sam. Ellie is a tomboy and Sam loves to look pretty but she's never afraid to get her hands dirty.
But one day they are torn away from each other. Making promises to stay in touch and find each other again.
Life moves fast and it gets hard to stay in touch with people. Then life gets harder and busier. Tragedies happen and eventually....someone you used to care about has drifted to the back of your mind. Just an occasional thought. A "what if?" Or "what could have been?"
Years later Ellie and Sam somehow end up back in the same town. Grown up and now strangers to each other. Lots of shenanigans will happen. As well as gay panic, stupid adorable stuff. And also some yearning...actually lots of yearning. They are gonna go through some shit. I hope you stay to the end to hopefully love these idiots and see what happens.
