"If they won't crown me, I'll build my own throne." "They called me too soft. I let them. Soft things bend. That's why they don't break." Unpicked. Unbreakable. Unstoppable. Yui always wanted to stand out-to be seen, to be chosen, to become the Number One Hero. But the world had other plans. Born with a Quirk that looked more villain than hero, and no silver spotlight waiting for her, she wasn't chosen. She was doubted. Feared. Overlooked. But she was never going to stay that way. Because what she did have was fire-the kind that doesn't explode, but smolders. Quiet. Relentless. Impossible to put out. Now at U.A., she's determined to carve her name into a world that never made space for her. Among the brilliant, the powerful, and the born-for-this, she'll fight to prove that heroism isn't about perfection-it's about choice. About defying the odds. She wasn't born chosen. She wasn't born celebrated. But she was born determined. And she's ready to prove that who you are matters more than how you started. Even if the fire threatens to burn her first. Because not every monster wears a snarl. Not every hero gets the cheers. And not every spark was born to burn things down.

Valeria didn't rush. She never did. Inez was pinned beneath her, wrist locked overhead, the hold precise and impersonal. Not pain. Control. Inez scoffed anyway. "That's it?" she sneered. "I've had tutors scarier than you." Valeria said nothing. The silence pressed in. "You don't scare me," Inez added, louder. Brattier. "You just-" "Enough." One word. Flat. Final. Valeria lifted Inez's chin with two fingers, detached as a correction. "Look at me," she said coolly. "If you're going to embarrass yourself, do it properly." Inez laughed, brittle. "You think this makes you powerful?" "I don't think," Valeria replied. "I decide." Her gaze never wavered. "You provoke because it's the last control you have." "I don't belong to you," Inez snapped. Valeria leaned in, voice razor-thin. "You are my wife. You belong to consequences." She released her grip. "Say it." "No." Valeria waited. The quiet broke Inez, she hated being ignored. "...I'll behave, I'll be a good girl" Inez muttered. "Specify." Inez swallowed hard. "...I'll be your good girl" Valeria stepped back, already distant. "Good," she said. "Remember why." #1 older women-13th February (FAST PACE BOOK)
