The hardest thing in life is perhaps trying to find the in-between state between two lives - the one that literally keeps you alive and gives you a feeling so intoxicating, it's like being high. It sweeps you off your feet, pulls you in, and all the while you're just trying to stay yourself. Caught in the chaos, in the silence of the noise, in the thrill of kisses, you suddenly realize that the easiest thing would be to just disappear forever - and never come back.
And perhaps the hardest part is bringing light to the surface from within yourself after years of darkness - and letting it live. Not silencing it with your dark side, but allowing what you truly are to exist.
