The One That Mends a Broken Heart

Achan Allare has spent his life running from his father's legacy. A man once revered as the greatest Babaylan, a Spiritual Healer, whose supposed miracles once inspired awe. But Achan knows the truth: his father was no miracle worker. The power that once made him legendary had long since withered, tainted by the abuse of such power. Yet, unwilling to let go of his status, his father continued the illusion by using him.

Forced into the role of a vessel, Achan became the façade of his father's failing power, paraded before desperate souls who clung to false hope. And when the deception finally caught up with them, it cost his father his life.

Now, Achan lives a quiet, ordinary existence- free from superstition, free from manipulation. Until they come. An influential family, desperate enough to believe.

Taken against his will, Achan is thrust into a world he vowed to leave behind, commanded to take his father's place and restore the health of their company's sole heir. He refuses. He knows the cost of deception, knows the ruin that comes from clinging to fading miracles. But when he uncovers the truth behind their illness- a Curse that shouldn't exist, that spreads suffering beyond its victims. He finds himself unable to turn away.

With his freedom slipping through his fingers, Achan faces an impossible choice: fight against the truth he never wanted to reveal or embrace the very deception that destroyed his father- before it destroys him too. Bound to the heir through forces beyond his control, he must unravel dark secrets, confront the specter of his father's past, and decide whether to wield a power he never asked for.

But with danger lurking in the shadows, the question remains. Will he escape, or has he already been claimed by the legacy he tried to outrun?
