I screamed with terror as they dragged me away from my husband. Raze.
Raze is a Lycan and I'm one also.
I thrashed around in the arms of a group of vampires. No matter how hard I tried to get out of their grasps, I just couldn't.
I knew I should've listened to him when he said to stay home. But me being me, I didn't listen, that's how I got here in the first place.
I looked at him with sadness and regret. I didn't get to tell him the news i've been waiting to tell him.
Not only was he my husband.
He was now a father.

I sighed heavily as I scanned the forest. I had heard something or someone to be specific, wandering about. I decided I would leave once I affirmed they weren't a danger. "What are you doing in my land, human?" Then you will have no escape from me" he spoke as he backed away I could understand. Lycans, like lion-shifters, were going extinct. Therefore mates were even more important to them. But, even if I understood I still didn't want to be someone's mate.
