When I opened my eyes, I couldn't see a thing. I was surrounded with dark and emptiness. Like I was floating in the space between and couldn't know when I will hit the ground. If at all.
From a distance, I could hear the clicking of heels hitting the cold floor where I was sitting.
With my each breath it was closer and closer. My pulse begins to be faster.
Suddenly, someone tore the dark scarf from my eyes. I blinked several times before my eyes adjusted to the light. I lifted my head up and standing before me was none other... than her.
