Ishla's parents, who are biologists, decide to move the family to Maine when they hear about all the mutated animals and dinosaur sightings. Ishla isn't happy because she's convinced all sightings are just a hoax. Plus, she's not happy about leaving the only home she's known, and enters a bit of a rebellious phase, plus her parents are so busy looking into these sightings that they are barely home. However, her world turns upside down when she comes into contact with some Primordial Ooze.
