For Kiwi Bonifacio, the sweet, tart, and refreshing taste of kiwi fruit is far from his reality. Instead, untruths hit his tongue with the bland, greasy sensation of day-old soggy frozen french fries. He's never sure if this absurd lie-detecting ability is a gift or an undiscovered magical-scientific thing.
Life as an overlooked middle child and a normal student is already complicated. But then, his childhood best friend transfers to his school, bringing familiar comfort and a sudden wave of gender confusion.
As Kiwi navigates his rekindled feelings, a darker reality emerges: a serial killer is hiding in the school. To uncover the truth and protect those he cares about, Kiwi must finally embrace his bitter gift before he, or someone he loves, becomes the next victim.

These 30 stories compiled in the months of August 2023 - February 2024, made in handwritten yellow pad papers and shared to the world for the first time shows that there are ways we find to connect with others through the stories we tell to one another. Stories dealing with the loss of a loved one, the horrors of reality, about the challenges faced in life, a longing for the person we loved, the laughter shared in-between, the hopes we treasure for tomorrow and beyond and of the little interactions that happen in life. It is through the attachments, love, support, consistency, determination and dreams do we find the will to push through and accomplish what needs to be done that is set out for us to tackle.
