Carefree, loud, parties - that's what life is for Ailee Tan. He lived for late nights and endless noise. Thrown into his mother's hometown, Bicol, his rowdy life screeches. The sole reason? Teaching him a lesson. Typical.

As he thought it couldn't get any worse, he literally crashes into Julio Rigel- their barrios' hard-working, and annoyingly principled farm boy. Ailee's exact words? His total opposite. Their first meeting? Chaotic. Getting along? You're kidding. There's no denying that they don't get along. Working in the sun and sweating is one thing. But working with Julio Rigel? Kill him.

They say hate is a strong word- but for Ailee and Julio? It came a little too easily. Ailee hated stillness. In a place that moved slower, he became used to the pace. Maybe, it's the province.
Maybe...it's someone.

"You know, my dad taught me one word from Bicol. Sabi niya, I should say this to the people who mean the most to me. Padaba Taka, Rigel."

I don't know what gotten in me that I walk inside the church and there I saw the girl She was standing at the middle of the beautiful decorated isles, she was about to cry but she was trying hard to hold her tears. "Alicia..what are you doing?" I saw the groom and the bride was shock, people are whispering around. "Kito, diba ako naman ang mahal mo? Diba? bakit? Bakit ganito? Bakit Michelle?" her tears are already on the verge of falling, "Alicia, you couldn't understand? kahit kailan di na ako babalik sayo kahit mamatay pa ako" I heard the groom said, damn! too much drama, "Peru mahal na mahal kita Kito..sobra kitang mahal" she suddenly wailed hard, she sounds like a slaughtered cow! I walk to the girl and hold her hand nakita ko pang nagulat siya na nakita niya ako, well I am more even surprise myself why I am doing this. "Let's go" I said as people continue to murmur around us. "Peru...Kito.." I clearly heard the desperate tone of her calling, damn! this things people can do for love "Let's go Alicia" I firmly said before I started to walk outside holding her hand tightly, she seems reluctant at first as she made a final glance to the couple. Bawat kirot ay may katumbas na paghihiganti. Yes, every pain demands a payback. That's the first thing I learned when I loved him. Not consciously, not right away-but slowly, in pieces. He taught me how to love. His love was wildfire-reckless, consuming, beautiful in the way it ruined everything. I thought I was lucky to have it. I thought he saw something in me. Maybe he did. Maybe he saw the parts that were already breaking. He taught me how to bend the rules, how to silence the voice in my head that said "this isn't right." With him, right and wrong blurred until they didn't matter. Until all that mattered was staying close enough not to lose him, but distant enough not to drown. And then came pain. He taught me pain in a thousand unspoken ways. In words that stung more than silence. In apologies that came too late. In touches that lingered with regret. And pain... And pain. Again and again No fairy tale. No forever. It was never about soulmates. It was just... a story. A complicated, messy, painful story. But still, I gambled. I bet my heart on something that didn't deserve it. And in the end, that so-called love? It destroyed me. It didn't just break me-it broke everything I cared about. Everyone I loved. It burned through every soft thing I had left inside me. Because that love... Was disastrous. Behind the illusion of love hid everything I was afraid of: pain, betrayal, lies, manipulation. A heartbreak wrapped in promises. A knife dressed like a kiss. But here's what no one tells you: after heartbreak comes something sharper. Stronger. Revenge. And revenge-it's not sweet. It's not cold. It's best served hot. The kind of heat that doesn't ask for closure. It takes it. I, who was a he, now turned into a she. I will serve pain out of pain. Not to mirror the cruelty, but to remind the world: You don't get to hurt someone like me and walk away unburned.
