Author: Tuanzi's Attack Synopsis: With her parents deceased, her childhood sweetheart's engagement broken off, and relatives plotting to seize her family's wealth, Fan Changyu, for the sake of her five-year-old sister, decided to take in a son-in-law. She set her sights on the man she had rescued; he was covered in wounds, possessed nothing, and only had a handsome face. They quickly agreed on a deal: she would take him in to recover, and he would feign marriage to help her preserve her family fortune. Once the family business was stable, Fan Changyu was about to write the divorce papers as agreed when the imperial court launched a war and conscripted the man, who was then taken away and disappeared without a trace. When she saw him again, he lay in a wounded soldier's tent, covered in blood, his face still handsome despite the blood, but his soldier's uniform was tattered and mangled. Seeing his hardship in the army, Fan Changyu's eyes reddened: "Don't go to war anymore, come back, I'll slaughter pigs to support you." The man, his eyes squinting, coughed up blood: "You want a divorce?" Fan Changyu, tears welling in her eyes: "No, no!"
