A Twist in the Tale

This short story is based on real-life events, however, the story has been modified with fiction. The story is about a woman who loses a dear friend, while holding on to faith in God through grief and healing.

I recently came across a writing prompt titled 'Something Doesn't Go According To Plan,' and it was one of the factors that inspired me to write this short story. The title reminded me of the emotional real-life story, and that connection became part of what inspired this story.
