Alessya, Gannon and the Sage have crossed the barrier and arrived in Kyoto Japan on Earth 2046.
They arrived when the world has been assaulted with grim efficiency by Emperor Hotath and his armies.
It dawns on the team how they were targeted first, as they could resist, while this world simply doesn't have access to the one thing to make their weapons work against these invaders.
Magic.
The entire world finds out within few days the error of not being able to harm these invaders with any weapon, as the entire world goes from 8.5 billion humans to less than 600,000 in a few days.
The teams finds survivors and works with them to try and stop Hotath's invasion and rescue this world.
This world also seems to have Alessya and Gannon in mind as its salvation also, but how?
