Mithila was completely drenched, but she didn't care. Her breath came in sharp, uneven gasps as she ran. Each step felt heavier than the last, as though the weight of the years was trying to pull her back, but she didn't stop. She couldn't stop. And then, she froze. Mazhar stood there, just a few feet away. He was soaked to the bone, rainwater dripping from his hair, running down his face, and pooling at his feet. Their eyes met. For a moment, both of them forgot to breathe. The rain fell heavier around them. The world seemed to narrow until it was just the two of them, standing in the rain. "I left my car keys in the apartment," Mazhar said as though he was trying to convince himself that her sudden appearance had nothing to do with him. That she had only come to return something he had left behind. But deep down, Mazhar knew better. He had left the keys on purpose. It was a small, foolish act-a desperate attempt to see her one more time. He knew it was wrong since he was still holding onto something he should have let go of years ago. But some part of him, which still belonged to her entirely, had refused to walk away without leaving the door open-just a little. Now, standing in front of her, Mazhar felt like he got caught. He could see it in her face-that she knew. That she had uncovered the quiet desperation he had tried so hard to hide. "Did you come to return my keys?" he asked. Mithila didn't answer. She couldn't. The words caught in her throat, tangled with the sob that threatened to break free. And then, before she could think, she moved. Her feet carried her forward in a rush, her arms reaching out as though they had a will of their own. She threw herself against him, her arms wrapping around his shoulders tightly, desperately, as if she were afraid he might vanish. "Don't go, Mazhar" she choked out, her voice breaking as the tears spilled from her eyes, mingling with the rain. "Please...don't Go. Don't leave me alone again."

He was waiting outside the OP, there for his student who had been injured during a fight over a phone. As he sat, casually glancing at his own phone, he suddenly heard the faint sound of a baby crying. Curious, he turned toward the sound-and froze. There, outside the pediatric care unit, sat his wife with their son crying in her arms. His heart ached-it had been months since he last saw his son. His gaze shifted to his wife, gently consoling the child. Her face looked tired, pale, and completely drained. Without a second thought, he stood, tears welling in his eyes. Each step he took felt heavy, his chest tightening with every cry from his son. As he neared, he saw her clothes were faded and worn. Her feet were bare, hardened from walking-clearly straight from the farm. His heart clenched. His eyes moved to his son-he had grown so much. She was so focused on calming the baby that she didn't notice him at first. Tears filled her eyes as she held their feverish child close. He softly called her name. Startled, she looked up-and froze. Then she quickly lowered her gaze and tried to get up. He gently placed a hand on her shoulder, stopping her. She sat back down, turning her face away, quietly wiping her tears. He reached out to take their son. The moment he held him, he felt the heat-his little body was burning with fever. A chill ran through him. After all these months, seeing his child like this was unbearable. He loved his wife and son deeply, but his loyalty to his mother-and obedience to her word-always came first. Between a mother who owned his soul and a wife who held his heart, he was a man torn in a cruel war of love and loyalty. And she-she had given her all to a promise whispered beneath the sacred fire... never knowing that one day, she'd be holding her child, with nothing but a faded vow.

#4 in the Doctor series When are you divorcing me?" He did nothing but stare in shock, surprise, and something else-which he shouldn't-yes, he shouldn't feel hurt. There is no vitality or existence in this relationship, and we are drifting like two birds with no destination. "You seem to be in haste to get rid of me?" he questioned otherwise. "It's better for both of us... I mean for three of us. I feel bad that instead of knowing you love someone else, I married you. Maybe if I tried to speak with Dadu, he would have understood it. He would have been angry but knowing that his children's happiness lies in someone else, he could have understood it sooner or later." I thought this wedding wouldn't affect me. I will mind my job but know things have changed. I... I started to love him which I can't say to him. He will never leave the girl he was in love with for 3 years for a relationship of 10 days and that's me. "Can you be without me?" I perceived a drop of rain falling on me I don't know why did he ask me that. And from where this question came? Maybe I will be shattered into pieces, Ekansh. But I acted most weirdly. I laughed at him. "You are saying as if we have been together for years. Come on Ekansh, I am not a love-sick girl." He caught my wrist gently and made me stare at him. "Then, I will divorce you very soon!" He muttered against my face and he sounded angry again. *** Bond to him streams about the couple whose wedding was fixed by their elders when they were kids. Growing up, their thoughts, views, and interests drastically changed. They were on different paths in life. Neither of them was fond of each other until the topic of the wedding was brought up.
