Aubreigh Madner is a 17-year-old girl who was locked up on the Ark after the death of her mother-a loss that shattered her world and left scars too deep to share. In the aftermath, she made herself a promise: never care too much, never get too close. Not to anyone but her father and her best friend. Loving someone meant losing them... and she couldn't survive that again.
But everything changed when she was sent to the ground.
There, she met someone who upended everything she thought she knew about herself. He drove her insane in all the ways that mattered-kept her awake at night, made her heart race in fear for his safety, and forced emotions she'd fought hard to bury to rise to the surface.
