I don't know much about "The Amazing Digital Circus" and I don't watch the show, but I wrote this fanfiction for a friend who really loves it. I'm not a fanfiction pro, so please be kind!

Your life could have been worse. Sure, you had a nasty smoking habit. And sure, you'd been a stumbling drunk from the day you learned to swallow- and sure, you worked a dead-end job that barely covered the rent. But all those trifles suddenly felt a whole lot smaller when you were looking down at hands that weren't your own. And a grisly circus troupe was looking right back. Despite coping over the fact that he'll be trapped forever inside a corrupted video game, the people he's stuck with aren't that bad - except for the ringmasters. Introducing themselves as Pomni and Jax, they send him and the rest of the cast on adventures almost every day, each one more horrific than the last. But it isn't the adventures that concern him. His ringmasters carry secrets, dark and damning ones. Whatever is weighing Pomni and Jax down, Canto can tell it will eventually break them. And the circus may not be able to handle it when they do.
